The State of Wisconsin Educational Approval Board (EAB) has approved the programs, which Bryant & Stratton College offers, and the EAB has authorized the College to confer the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and Baccalaureate degrees (BBA, BS, BSN).
The Racine, Bayshore, and Wauwatosa Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
The ADN Nursing program offered at the Wauwatosa and Bayshore campuses is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The Wisconsin Board of Nursing and the ACEN view the Nursing programs at these campuses as one accredited program.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing programs at Bayshore and Wauwatosa are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), 655 K Street, NW Suite 750 Washington, D.C. 20001, 202-887-6971.
Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma
The Licensed Practical Nurse diploma program offered at the Wauwatosa, Bayshore, and Racine campuses has approval to admit students by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.

Nursing students are notified of new policies or changes to existing nursing program policies and procedures from the Nursing Program Director. Students also receive updates to the Nursing Handbook and Official Catalog each semester.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Wauwatosa is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Graduates from this program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the Occupational Therapy Assistant, administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). In addition, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT certification examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.

Facility Fee
Each student at the Wauwatosa and Bayshore Campuses will be charged $125 each semester for bus passes, parking, and shuttle services.
Attendance, Make-Up Work and Leaves of Absence
Regular class attendance is necessary for students to receive the maximum benefit from their education, aid them in development of the self-discipline that is required in the work force, and to develop their technical and critical skills to levels expected by employers. Students with excessive absences will be administratively withdrawn from the College. Instructors take attendance in every regularly scheduled class and supervised lab session. For attendance purposes, students are categorized as present, late or absent. There are no excused absences or any other type of categorization with the exception of a formally documented and approved plan for course work tied to a medically related issue. Students recorded as late will be counted as present, regardless of when they arrive in class. Instructors log attendance into Self Service Banner after every class. Students who are absent from all of their courses for more than 14 consecutive calendar days will be automatically withdrawn from the College unless the student contacts the College and is approved for an extension of this 14 day absence period and returns to school within 21 days of their last date of attendance.
The assigning and grading of make-up work due to class absences will be dependent upon the department and program. Students who have missed work submission(s) due to class absences must speak with their Instructor to determine what work will be accepted and set up a deadline for the submission of same.
Bryant & Stratton College does not recognize leaves of absence except for active military duty. A student who is a member of, applies to be a member of, performs, has performed, applies to perform, or has an obligation to perform, service in the uniformed services who must withdraw from College - for a period of more than 30 days - by reason of such service will be entitled to readmission. To be considered for a leave of absence and readmission to the College, a student must submit an application for readmission no later than three years after the completion of the period of service. If a student is hospitalized for or convalescing from an illness or injury incurred or aggravated during the performance of service, notice of intent to reenroll must be submitted no later than two years after the end of the period that is necessary for recovery from such illness or injury.

Placement Advisement
All graduates who have successfully completed a degree program at Bryant & Stratton College are eligible for placement advice. Graduates of Bryant & Stratton may receive placement advice at any Bryant & Stratton College location.
Career Services - Career LifePrep
At Bryant & Stratton College, our approach to career services is unique because we know you want more than just an education - you want preparation. Preparations for life beyond the classroom. That’s why we designed our Career LifePrep experience to provide employment advisory services and ongoing career guidance while you are a student and as an alumnus. As a student you have access to our knowledge career services team to help you research and navigate your individual career goals and path. Our staff will provide assistance with resume development, strategic job search advisement and interview preparation. Our support does not end at graduation. Our alumni can come back for help with career strategies even after graduation. Bryant & Stratton College does not guarantee employment and student referrals to prospective employers are not based on direct contact with the employer regarding current job openings.
Records Retention
The College retains student financial and academic records for a period of six years. Academic transcripts are permanently retained.
Tuition Refunds-Wisconsin only
Refunds will be computed according to the following guidelines:
A student who withdraws or is dismissed after attending at least one class or submitting at least one lesson, but before completing 60% of the potential units of instruction in the current enrollment period, shall be entitled to a pro rata refund, as calculated below, less any amounts owed by the student for the current enrollment period.
- Pro rata refund shall be determined as the number of units remaining after the last unit completed by the student, divided by the total number of units in the enrollment period, rounded downward to the nearest ten percent. Pro rata refund is the resulting percent applied to the total tuition and other required costs paid by the student for the current enrollment period.
- Refunds shall be paid within 40 days after the effective date of termination.
- No refund is required for any student who withdraws or is dismissed after completing 60% of the potential units of instruction in the current enrollment period unless a student withdraws due to mitigating circumstances, which are those that directly prohibit pursuit of a program and which are beyond the student’s control.
Facilities and Equipment
The Wauwatosa Campus is approximately 58,705 square feet located in a quiet, suburban neighborhood. The Campus provides wooded walking trails, outside eating areas as well as a Cantina, Spirit Store, off-site student housing and a Children’s College for the children of students and Associates. The Campus includes a state-of-the-art Nursing Simulations lab, OTA & PTA labs, labs for biology and chemistry as well as fourteen computer labs, Career Services Center and a Student Learning Commons.
The Bayshore Campus is approximately 37,000 square feet located on the third floor of the Bayshore Towne Center, minutes away from downtown Milwaukee and the Lake Michigan lakefront. The Campus includes programmatic labs for Nursing, Information Technology, Criminal Justice and Medical Assisting. The Campus boasts a large library, Student Lounge, nine computer labs, Career Services Center and a Learning Resource Center.
The Racine Campus is approximately 15,270 square feet located in Mount Pleasant, a southeastern suburb or Milwaukee. The Campus includes Medical Assisting labs, Nursing labs, four computer labs, a library, Student Lounge, Career Services Center, Learning Skills Center and an outdoor relaxation area.
Notice of Acceptance
Campus students are given an acceptance letter during their registration appointment. Online students receive their notice of acceptance via e-mail.
Student Progress and Grades
Students are able to check grades throughout the term via Blackboard. Final grades are available to students in Self Service Banner the Thursday after the end of term.
