CRJU240 - Criminal Courts and ProcedureSemester Credit Hour(s) 3 This course focuses on the criminal court system and processes, as well as the constitutional rights of criminal defendants as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court. Students will learn to distinguish between due process and crime control perspectives as well as the impact of ethics on criminal procedure. Students also will evaluate criminal procedure from first contact to appeal, as well as the roles of prosecutors, judges and defense attorneys throughout the process.
