PLEG230 - Criminal Law and ProceduresSemester Credit Hour(s) 3 Criminal Law and Procedure a course in which both substantive law and the procedural rules are studied and examined. In the process of the study of criminal law students will examine the differences in definitions, classifications, elements and defenses of crime. In the study of criminal procedure students will examine the constitutional rights of the accused. This will be a hands-on class where students will prepare pleadings, engage in the discovery process and prepare for all phases of the trial and appellate process.
