OTAP252 - Professional Issues in Occupational TherapySemester Credit Hour(s) 1 This course will examine the importance of professionalism in occupational therapy, the role of regulatory agencies and the use of professional literature and research to keep the profession and the practice of occupational therapy current. Topics include the effective use of professional literature, understanding requirements for credentialing, practice management, effective and professional communication, and the importance of professional development and lifelong learning. This course will support students in their fieldwork experiences.
Prerequisite(s): OTAP 101 Final Semester
