NURS103 - Nursing FundamentalsSemester Credit Hour(s) 6 This course assists with the development of basic nursing skills and introduces the student to identifying the social, cultural, global and ethnic needs of patients and families. This course builds on introductory course information of the practice of nursing and the nursing process. It provides evidence based rationale for safe and effective nursing interventions. Skill attainment is emphasized in the skills laboratory and through clinical experience which focuses on the self-care needs of adults.
