PTAP120 - Motor Development and AgingSemester Credit Hour(s) 2 This course explores the biological changes that occur in humans across the lifespan. It studies typical development and reflexes and how deviation from this applies to physical therapy assessment and intervention. Emphasis will focus on identifying both gross and fine motor milestones and how these are related to development as well as considerations for the older adult in regards to assessment and intervention. Motor development and its application to functional training as well as human locomotion will also be explored.
