Building upon this understanding, this course concentrates on behavior observation and intervention strategies as part of a positive guidance approach to facilitating healthy child development. Children’s social-emotional development and mental health, redirection guidance approaches, and appropriate intervention methods are central concepts. This course emphasizes the role of the early childhood professional in supporting children’s social-emotional learning.
